Prime Lamb Enterprise

The Ruse farm has seen a number of sheep enterprises over the years. The current focus is on sheep meat production using First Cross Ewes bred with Poll Dorset terminal sires. Prime lambs are born in July, grown to 25-30 kg.

Previously, the Romney Marsh stud allowed students to exhibit sheep at local and regional shows, while the Sharlea sheep were known for producing quality wool in an intensive system.
