JRAHS is constantly evaluating the infrastructure and resource needs for its students. Being a government school, JRAHS relies on the generosity of past and current Ruse families in continually making voluntary tax-deductible and/or non-tax deductible contributions so the school can action projects now than later. This can be done through:
the School Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Building Fund
the School DGR Library Fund
the JRAHS P&C DGR Ancillary Fund
supporting fundraising activities by the School and/or JRAHS P&C.
All proceeds above $2 are tax-deductible and in 2021, funds are targeted to these two upcoming capital works:
Walters Field Outdoor Multipurpose Centre
This will provide additional shaded seating for our students to spend their recreation time as well as a location to spectate sporting events and cadet parades. It will be used as an outdoor classroom as well as for Year Meetings and assemblies.
Walters Field Indoor Multipurpose Centre
The new facility will provide a valuable space to improve the physical fitness and mental wellbeing of our students and staff. It will have a gym with fitness equipment and a studio which can be used for a range of activities such as dance, aerobics, yoga and meditation. The space can be utilised as additional creative and performing art space and as an exam centre.
In addition, JRAHS welcomes financial assistance for students to be able to participate in competitions and workshops.
There are also opportunities for those who wish to sponsor awards bestowed on the school's
Annual Presentation Day and
Annual High Achievers' Awards Day.
