2021 Mar School Library

The James Ruse Library is the heart of the school. It is the main meeting place with an inviting, friendly atmosphere. The aim of the Library is to meet all school needs both academic and social, to enrich life and foster a love of learning.

  • Fiction arranged in the genres Young Adult, fantasy, crime, classics, historical, action and adventure, science fiction and popular best loved authors and their series
  • Graphic novels and manga
  • Picture books to support Art and English
  • Non-fiction: in depth reading for all curriculum areas chosen to support both students and teachers

  • Special interest magazines and newspapers
  • DVDs supporting the curriculum as well as leisure
  • Careers office with up to date information
  • Library Intranet pages for senior subject support
