Since 1990, James Ruse has been a continuous member to Angus Australia breeding purebred Angus stud cattle producing quality breeding heifers and steers for local market.
Our breeding cows are the descendants of a long line of the original genetics used to establish the first JRAHS herd. We have a resident bull ‘Wongalea Mozart’ and implement an artifical breeding program with select heifers.
The cattle enterprise currently assists in teaching the Year 9 Beef Cattle Topic, our Beef focus as a Product Study for the HSC and, also the future Veterinarians for large animal handling skill development.
