The Australian Cancer & Health Sciences Competition (ACHSC) is a youth-led, not-for-profit organisation with a mission to empower young people to make a meaningful contribution towards realising a world free of cancer.
Sharlyn Tan (Year 10) should be congratulated for her exceptional performance in the 2020 Australian Cancer & Health Sciences Competition (ACHSC). Sharlyn was placed First and the ACHSC has offered her the opportunity to complete a week-long research internship at a research institute in either Victoria or NSW.
Thirteen of our Year 10 students competed in this very challenging competition and by preparing for the competition, they have acquired useful and interesting knowledge of cancer, biochemistry, epidemiology, treatment and prevention.
